Dani Alves Confess Almost Uniformed Liverpool And Two Other Top Clubs, Why Fail?
Paris Saint-Germain’s current right-back Dani Alves claims he will join Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid Kaisarjudibola.com. However, the plan failed before he finally joined Barcelona from Sevilla.
Alves spent six years in Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, boosting his name as one of the most promising youngster at the beginning of his appearance. He also successfully brought Sevilla won the European League two times in a row, things that increasingly attracted some big clubs in Europe.
Then he chose to move to Barcelona with a transfer fee of 35 million Euro in 2008. But actually he could have picked one of the three clubs mentioned, but failed to happen.
Alves wondered his transfer to Liverpool could fail
Liverpool became the team most interested in bringing the Brazilian defender to England in 2006. According to the Merseyside camp when it rejected Sevilla’s £ 8 million request, Alves thought the deal had happened but it did not match his expectations. The same situation also experienced with Chelsea and Real Madrid.
“I pretty much have a good deal with Liverpool,” defender Paris Saint-Germain told FourFourTwo.
“But for whatever reason it did not happen at the last moment and I really do not know why, since I am not the person negotiating, I have someone else who represents me then.”
“Something similar happened later in my career with Chelsea and Real Madrid. Of course, everyone is happy for Cules [Barcelona fans] in the end, and also for me, because I can write an amazing story at Camp Nou instead. ”
“I want to win things that I unfortunately can not win if I stay in Sevilla. We’re close to it, but I do not like just close. ”
“Six months before the transfer window opened I was told of Barca’s interest, and I said that I wanted to play for them because of the good history of the Brazilians there, the greatness of the club and the style of football.”
“So this is a successful union and I will always be grateful to Pep Guardiola, Txiki Begiristain and Joan Laporta, because they gave me the opportunity to become a big star,” he added.
Still have ambitions jajal English League
Liverpool and Chelsea failed to bring Alves in his heyday, but the Brazilian international did not rule out the possibility to take part in the Premier League before he retired.
He added: “I still have this ambition, yes [to play in England]. But I do not know if this will happen now, I think there are many things to do here first with PSG. ” (Source: FFT)
